She has worked as a Substitute Teacher for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System, a Teacher’s Assistant for Suffolk Public Schools, and a Direct Support Professional at Ryan’s Place, where she provided care and encouragement to individuals with special needs. Her early career included time as a Bank Teller for First National City Bank (Citibank) and Bank of America, instilling her with a strong work ethic and an appreciation for the everyday resilience of working families.
